  • LEARN Inc. is a non-profit educational organization established as a legal entity in July of 1966 for the sole purpose of aiding financially deprived students to obtain funds to pursue post secondary education and or training.

 

  • In November of 1969, LEARN Inc. received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to fund the Educational Talent Search program to serve Lubbock and the South Plains area.  The program assist students with secondary school completion and post secondary enrollment.

 

  • In November of 1991, LEARN Inc. added its second TRiO Program, Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), to serve the educational needs of disadvantaged adults nineteen and older in the region. LEARN EOC assists adults with applying for secondary (GED) and post secondary (college) education.

 

  • LEARN Let’s Go Advance, Under the umbrella of LEARN TRiO Talent Search, this program will provide eligible students at Dunbar and Estacado with academic advisement, tutoring, career exploration, study skills, Life Management Skills Retreat, visits to college campuses, information on college options and ways to pay for college.
